It all begins with an idea.

They say two heads are better than one, and that was precisely the case when the seed of innovation that would grow into arbor golf's par patch was planted. As two founders with a shared passion for the game of golf, we found inspiration where it is often found: on the course, and yet, this time, it was amidst the storied landscapes of Scotland.

The inception of par patch sprang from a simple, unfulfilled desire: to capture the essence of a Scottish golf course visit in a custom ball pocket pouch—a keepsake that wasn't readily available. This gap sparked a conversation between us, pondering, "What if we could personalise our golf bags just as easily as we switch our headcovers?"

From this question, par patch evolved—a solution that allowed golfers to not only commemorate the courses they visited but also express their unique identities. It was about creating something for the bag, an oft-overlooked canvas waiting for an artist's touch. Our par patch is that medium for expression.

The development of par patch was a collaborative effort fuelled by our combined visions. We poured over materials, design mechanisms, and the very essence of what makes golf such a personal sport. Our aim was to create a product that stood the test of time and weather, could be swapped on a whim, and could turn a golf bag into a gallery of experiences.

With every magnetic patch placed on a bag, we see our idea come to life—a concept born from necessity, cultivated by passion, and brought to fruition through partnership.

We are excited to welcome you to this blog, a space where we’ll share more than just product news. Here, you will find stories of camaraderie, innovation, and the individuality that golf so beautifully allows.

Stay tuned for the next chapter, where every fairway and rough is a narrative, and every par patch is a badge of that tale.

Here's to the journey, the game, and the ideas yet to be realised.

Swing sincerely, Ben Wallace and James Kleber Co-founders of arbor golf
